The Centre for Social Initiative and Management (CSIM), and Loyola Academy, Hyderabad jointly announce the launch of the 3rd batch of “ Post Graduate Diploma in Social Initiative and Management”. The new batch will be starting on 2nd August 2008. The course is designed to cater to the changing and growing social sector needs. It aims to make social work practice innovative, effective and sustainable by application of social entrepreneurship and management concepts and tools. This is a one-year (two semesters), part time course conducted at CSIM premises at Punjagutta, Hyderabad. The sessions will be conducted during the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). The teaching methodology includes lectures, seminars, workshops, field-based projects, assignments and small group discussions. Social dimensions of development issues, Contemporary fields in social work, Social Entrepreneurship, Law, Social Research, Project Management, Communications, Fund raising, Governance and Accountability, HRM, Finance Management for NGOs, Micro-finance and CSR.
